This is a simple concept, which although I have tweaked it a little since this photo was taken, remains pretty well as you see it here. I realised that the couple’s arms were a bit short and lengthened them where they meet and then gave it a little detailing, but in essence the light water soluble paint is effective enough to convey the message of a couple in love, whilst the harder surface of the ground was achieved by building up several layers of acrylic paint. It doesn’t have a title at the moment. Sometimes a painting doesn’t need a label – it’s enough that it speaks for itself.
